This is very cool. The ribbons are a nice accent, and I imagine you could adjust them to fit, or change out the colors.
How heavy/uncomfortable is it? It looks great, but if it pinches or is really heavy, the next question doesn't apply.
I know this particular one isn't for sale, but if you were to make another, how much would it cost? Not sure if I'm even going to get it, but I want to know just in case :)

The ribbons can always be changed. I can pick up much as requested, but usually I only send out one color. This style has larger links, but they aren't as thick as other maille pieces. It's quite comfortable, but it does have some weight to it. I would have to estimate the amount of links needed and can get back to you with a weight to better explain. It's a little heavier than a jacket, but I'll look into it a little further.

it doesn't pinch, and once they're all weaved together, its a smooth feel over the skin. I make sure each link is super tight so it doesn't pinch. It's quite malleable! These can range from $300-$350 depending on size and ribbon request. This one has stone accents along the bottom with a single strand of draping chain that goes across the front and back. This can be stone beads, glass beads, silver beads, scale/leaflets in whatever color for a single row, add chain instead of accents, or just have the maille tank.  (optional: addition rows of scales as the accent on the bottom of the tank can be done at an additional $20/row)

I can also look into rubber rings for where the tank would rest on the shoulder for a more comfortable fit. :P These do take materials and some time but I send update photos along the process to make sure that it is exactly what you need for the time invested.

If you want, note me if you would like, or just consider the information. I do have room for a large project.

Cool. I think it would be awesome to have one of these, but I'm not sure when I'd wear it :)
It's really neat that you have so many options (how do the rubber rings even work anyway?). Just out of curiosity, I'm not saying I'm going to ask for this, but is it even possible to make one of these tanks out of all scales? Maybe with rings for the straps, but I think that would look really cool if you did one like that. Heavy though.
And unfortunately, $300 is a little pricey for my current young person budget. Is there any other way to cut down the price at all, like shrinking it (crop top thing) or something? I love the style and everything. It's really awesome, though, and I want it. Maybe in the future.
Waaah! I don't have enough money for anything cool on here!!
Perhaps I'll order some of your bracers. Or something. I'm not sure.

It's more for those who go to the festivals or go out to big events on a regular basis. I've sold them to clients for Comic Cons, Medeival Faires and even Bike weeks for motorcycles. I actually bought a bunch of the large scales to make a full vest out of and add chain sleeves to it. That'll be a display piece till I find the right buyer. I have red, orange, champagne and silver scales for project like that. There are rubber rings and you can use the with the regular links and it'll provide some give to the weight and make them a little lighter, but keep them from pinching by the collarbone.

I could do a crop top for a lower price, If it was just a crop top to go above the belly button, if its the chainlinks I can drop it to about $175. I could probably do a large scale top for about that price and lenght as well, but I can always order other colors if needed.  It would have the same function as the full tank with the ribbons. I could do ribbon tank sleeves over the should which could save some more and bring the price to $150.

I know budgets and pricing is extensive, I try to keep my prices as close to material cost I can ( :iconfelosoraptor:, my sister, yells at me all the time for having my prices too low) but I know its hard being an artist in the world we live in nowadays. I do like do to alot of fun projects, so if thats not something you're ready to commit to yet, that's more than fine!  I love talking artisan design :D I'm always here to and don't plan on going anywhere.

If you have a budget that you can afford too, we can always talk about what options fit that range as well. :) I'm j

Thanks! The ribbons I find to be great color accents to be able to change it with any outfit you're putting together instead of weaving it into the actual piece.
