Scale flowers-Lily and lotus style

Now, I've seen flowers everywhere but I've never even attempted them! These buggers are harder than they look if you don't buy the tutorials online or anything so I winged it. I usually design by trial and error to see what method I like using. These beauties are going to be made into a necklace but I have a backlog of scales to make them in any color!

Will post to Etsy soon, but these are made with handcrafted 1/8" red copper enameled links hat were handcut as well.
9/64" orange links in aluminum
3/16" aluminum saw cut jump rings in orange yellow and red
8mm golden aluminum jump rings
Large orange and red scales
brass and red small scales

The big flower is 3 tiered, it also has 3 pollen stems that are made with painted glass beads in orangish red shades, and super tiny seed beads in red shine finish, a golden shine finish, and orange shine finish to make the pollen stems stand up. They only move slightly for when it moves with you and all flowers keep their form. No fussing no adjusting needed. They will retain the flower form for an exceptional addition to any outfit.
